Trapper

Today, my sweet little puppy, Trapper passed away. It has been such a hard day! He was the best dog in the world! He was so gentle and loving. He was such a good dog and got along so well with the cats. Tiger and him were always sleeping together. She will definately be a lost soul without him. He was so friendly and nice, but if you were not supposed to be in his yard he was ferocious! A couple years ago my mom was home alone with Corban and she heard Trapper barking a mean bark and then she heard an animal screaming...anyways, Trapper cornered something under the deck and when we got home he was there to greet us just wagging his tail. Garrett checked out to see what was under the deck and it was the biggest raccoon ever! Trapper had snapped it's neck and killed it. There was no way he was going to let anything hurt his little Corban. He used to go everywhere with us and especially loved Lake Powell. We would jump off rocks into the lake and he would come after us thinking we were drowning. I have so many special memories with him and will miss him, but I am very thankful I had 15 years to spend with him!!!

Thanks Sis for sharing your memories of Trapper. He will be missed so much!!
Do you remember in high school when you tried to sneak out one night and you couldn't because Trapper and the cats all followed you and made you come home!! He was your little protector as well as your "tattle tail"!

Sorry to hear about Trapper, Heather! (I like your Mom's story about him being your little "Tattle Tail." That was pretty cute.)

Ok Heather... I thought I'd waited long enough to read about Trapper but I was wrong. I have sat here and cried thinking about him. He really was the worlds best dog. I will miss him so much! I remember when Dakota used to tease your mom and call him Ranger! He could even do magic tricks, remember when he turned Sandy into a baboon? He was so playful and sweet. He will always hold a special place in my heart, he was a good boy and a big part of our family! Everybody loved him.
